Seven steps · zero ambiguity
The full loop, from blank page to a thing that shipped.
No screenshots in a deck. No “schedule a demo” wall. Here's literally every step, from the supervisor's side, the intern's side, and what the system does in between.
Step 1 of 7
Scope the project
15 minutes · describe it, AI drafts the rest
How it works
One loop, start to certificate.
A company posts a scoped project, not a vague role. The platform structures everything that happens next, and closes the loop with proof of what shipped.
The supervisor
Describe the project. AI does the rest.
Paste a paragraph: “We want to refresh our brand over 12 weeks with two interns, one for visual, one for research.” Inturn drafts your goals (max 3), phases, deliverables (3 to 10), and skill list. You edit anything you don't agree with. There's a manual form if you'd rather skip the AI, same data model, different door.
Outputs: goals, phases, deliverables, skills, pay range · Time: 15 minutes
The supervisor
Publish, and the project flips from Draft to Active.
You add the role title, scope, slots, supervisor, pay. Two application questions max, anything more and applicants drop off. Pick “public marketplace” or “private link only” if you're hiring someone you already know. Publishing creates the marketplace listing and activates the project.
Time: 10 minutes
The intern
The marketplace surfaces the role.
Students browsing Inturn see your role ranked by match score against their profile: skills, location, goals. The match band at the top reads “Here are 7 internships matched to you.” Your listing shows the actual pay number, the actual deliverables, and the actual supervisor, no surprises.
Both sides
Review applications in one place. Accept in one click.
Each application is the student's profile, their answers to your two questions, and a portfolio link. You review, you shortlist, you accept. Inturn doesn't run interviews for you, it makes them shorter. When you accept, the intern's workspace spins up automatically with the brief already loaded.
What happens: workspace created, brief copied, call link generated, first weekly check-in scheduled
Both sides
Day one is already set up.
The intern lands in their workspace. Brief at the top. Tasks pre-populated from the deliverables. Calendar showing the weekly check-ins. Activity feed empty, for now. They don't need to ask “what do I do today”, the system answered before they showed up.

Both sides
The loop runs itself. You tip in where it matters.
The intern moves tasks across the board, submits deliverables as v1 then v2 with notes. The supervisor reviews, either approves or requests changes. A comment thread lives on every artifact. Every Friday at 14:00, the weekly check-in happens with a pre-built agenda. Nothing falls through.
“Needs review” can't be ignored: flagged after 48h.
The intern
The certificate generates the moment the last deliverable is approved.
Project complete. The supervisor's final rating is in. Inturn generates the certificate automatically, signed by the supervisor, signed by the platform, signed by the intern. The verification link goes live at inturn.app/v/{cert-id}: anyone can open it, see what shipped, see the supervisor's name, verify the dates. The intern shares it. The next employer trusts it.
What ships: PDF, public link, LinkedIn share, QR code
The marketplace
Scoped once. Matched to people who can do it.
Because the project is structured, the match is too: applicants arrive with verified portfolios, you compare them in one place, and accepting is a single click.

Honest limits
Things Inturn explicitly doesn't do.
We're a workspace, not a recruiter. Knowing what we're not is what lets us be good at what we are.
We don't run interviews
No 6-step interview flow, no take-home assignments, no algorithmic ranking pretending to be smart. You review the application, you talk to the candidate however you want, you accept inside Inturn.
We don't pay your interns
Companies handle payroll their normal way. Inturn shows the pay number, the intern verifies it before accepting, and we send reminders if the payment date slips. The money flow stays where it is.
We don't replace your supervisor
If you don't have someone willing to commit 30 minutes a day to a junior person, Inturn can't fix that. The product is built for teams who want to mentor well but need help structuring it.
We don't talk to your university yet
Right now, students sign up directly and add Inturn internships to their CV themselves. University-side dashboards are on the roadmap for Phase 2, not Phase 1.
FAQ
Questions about the mechanics.
Yes. The manual form uses the same data model, goals, phases, deliverables, skills, it's just a different door into step 01. Nothing about the rest of the loop changes.
The listing stays open on the marketplace until you accept someone or close it. Nothing times out on its own, and you can edit the scope or pay at any point before accepting.
Internships for companiesNo. The pay number is set by the company and shown upfront on the listing. The intern verifies it before accepting; Inturn doesn't negotiate it or hold the funds.
Yes. At step 02 you choose “public marketplace” or “private link only”, useful if you're hiring a specific student you already know rather than opening the role broadly.
15 minutes
That's all you need for step 01.
The first project is the slow one. By the second, you've got templates. By the third, the system runs itself and you wonder how you ever did it by email.
